What is personal training?

Personal Training consists of one on one coaching from a certified Personal Trainer. Your trainer teaches, motivates, and gets you to work consistently whilst following a detailed fitness plan which the trainer develops for you, based on you and your goals.
Personal training is the most effective method of achieving your health, fitness, and/or weight loss goals. It utilises the most effective exercise strategies whilst keeping you continuously progressing.

Your programme will be tailored to your goals and individual ability. Your training is based upon the most up-to-date scientific research in the areas of strength and conditioning, nutrition, muscle hypertrophy (enlargement) and fat metabolism to ensure your training and nutrition is safe and tailored to your goals.
All personal training programmes require an initial health consultation.

Can I train with a friend?

We recommend you complete your consultation on a one-to-one basis. Discounts are available for group personal training sessions.

What happens at a consultation?

We start with an initial health check, discussion about your diet and nutrition, current training or exercise plan (if any) and set some personal goals. We will also assess your:


Weight
Weight scales
Body fat percentage
Percentage badge
Blood pressure
Aneroid sphygmomanometer
Resting heart rate
Heart with pulse

You will then be put through a very simple fitness test which lasts no longer than 2 minutes. This helps us ascertain your general fitness levels which will be used while we put together your own individual tailor-made program.

Simply Fit is a Personal Training Company based in Northern Ireland. It was launched with one goal in mind; to help improve your health, body composition, fitness and performance levels.

We realise here at Simply Fit that maintaining a healthy lifestyle each day can be difficult due to the many things life throws our way and we want to change that so you can feel great about yourself.

I began playing sports and lifting weights at school and was immediately hooked, since then health and fitness has been a passion of mine. From that moment onwards it was a big part of my life. I competed for my school representing them in track and field events around the country, played for football teams around Ulster and competed to a high standard in motocross events in the UK and Ireland.


My hobbies include training in the gym, riding my motorcycle, attending motorsport events, going to the cinema as well as socialising and dining out with friends and family. I also enjoy experiencing the great outdoors and what it has to offer. I have a keen interest in a lot of different sporting disciplines and enjoy researching training and nutritional theories relating to them.
